    I bought these to apply to the first and third valve slides of my Carolbrass trumpet. This is obvious but only occured to me after using them: don't expect them to go far, two are required for every slide, so after one instrument there are now only two rings left.

    Although they did the job fine, I can't help thinking that they are basically o-rings and could be bought more cheaply elsewhere.

    Le diamètre est juste un peu plus petit que le diamètre extérieur de la partie mâle des coulisses de trompette ou de bugle. Les élastiques s'étirent un peu pour être mis en place. Ça reste bien sans glisser et ça atténue bien le bruit des claquement de coulisses remontées trop vite.
